Russian authorities detained dozens of Israeli travellers at Domodedovo Airport and subjected them to extended interrogations and phone searches, according to media reports. The Russian opposition outlet Mediazona reported that around 40 Israelis, including dual nationals, were held for five consecutive hours under allegedly “harsh conditions”, during which they were reportedly denied food and water and had their mobile phones confiscated and inspected by the Federal Security Service.
