Iran’s parliament speaker has warned that Tehran will reveal “new cards” if fighting with the United States and Israel resumes, two days before a ceasefire deadline expires. Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf said in a post on X: “We do not accept negotiating under threat. Over the past two weeks, we have been preparing to reveal new cards on the battlefield.” Ghalibaf, who also serves as Iran’s chief negotiator, added that US President Donald Trump “is seeking to turn the negotiating table into a table of surrender”.
