Iran warns it will strike ‘pre-designated targets’ if attacked

Iran’s military said it would immediately strike “pre-designated targets” if the United States launches any new attack, according to Ebrahim Zolfaghari of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters.

He said Iranian forces are at “100 percent readiness” and prepared to respond.

In the event of “aggression and any action against the Islamic Republic of Iran,” Iranian forces would “immediately and powerfully attack pre-determined targets,” Zolfaghari said.

The warning came after US President Donald Trump said a ceasefire would be extended while maintaining a naval blockade on Iranian ports.
