Lebanese journalist Zeinab Faraj wounded in Israeli air strike, stable after surgery
Lebanese journalists Zeinab Faraj and Amal Khalil were trapped for more than an hour after an Israeli air strike, with rescue teams initially unable to reach them.
A Red Cross team later evacuated Faraj to the hospital along with the bodies of two civilians killed in an earlier attack.
The ambulance came under fire during the evacuation and was hit by multiple bullets.
Faraj has undergone surgery and is reported to be in stable condition, while Khalil's employer confirmed she was killed in an Israeli attack earlier in the day.
