US Centcom says 31 vessels have been redirected as part of blockade on Iran

US forces have directed 31 vessels to turn around or return to port as part of Washington's blockade against Iran, Centcom said in a statement. 

"The U.S. military has global reach," Centcom wrote. "No ships allowed in or out of Iranian ports."

It added that most vessel told to turn around were oil tankers.
