Israel’s public broadcaster KAN News reported on Wednesday that two Israeli Air Force soldiers are set to be charged with spying for Iran, after being suspected of passing sensitive information related to F-15 fighter jets. According to the report, the two soldiers worked as aircraft technicians at Tel Nof airbase, near Ashdod, and face charges of aiding the enemy during wartime. Authorities are also considering upgrading the charges against one of them to treason. The suspicions indicate that the two men were asked to gather information about former Israeli Chief of Staff Herzi Halevi and National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir.
