Israel seeks ‘green light’ from US to kill remaining Khamenei family members

Israeli Defence Minister Israel Katz has openly signalled plans to target Iran’s leadership, saying Israel is waiting for US approval to strike members of the late Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei’s family, including his son, the current supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei.

Katz said Israel is seeking a “green light” from Washington to escalate its campaign.

"We are waiting for the green light from the United States, first and foremost to complete the elimination of the Khamenei dynasty and return Iran to the Dark Ages and the Stone Age," Katz said.

He warned that any future attack would be significantly more destructive.

"The attack this time will be different and deadly and will add devastating blows in the most painful places - following the enormous blows that the Iranian terrorist regime has suffered so far - that will shake and collapse its foundations," he added.
