US army developing plans to target Hormuz Strait if Iran truce deal shatters: Report
US military officials are developing new plans to target the Strait of Hormuz in case the ceasefire with Iran fails, according to a CNN report.
The options include strikes with a "particular focus on 'dynamic targeting' of Iranβs capabilities around the Strait of Hormuz, southern Arabian Gulf and Gulf of Oman", the report read.
Washington could also consider Trump's previous threats to hit infrastructure targets, including energy facilities and military capabilities, the sources noted.
The report adds that the targeting of individual Iranian leaders is also on the table for the US army.
