Fifty-nine people were injured early on Friday after an Iranian rocket struck a village in the Galilee region following three successive waves of missiles targeting northern Israel within one hour. The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reported that 59 people suffered moderate to minor injuries after the rocket attack on the town of Zarzir in the Galilee area. It said the rocket landed about 10 metres from a house in the village, destroying it completely and causing severe damage to four other homes. According to the report, the strike was part of a third wave of Iranian bombardment that targeted northern Israel within an hour early on Friday.
