Multiple Israeli strikes reported across Gaza, woman and child among killed

More than 11 Palestinians, including a woman and a child, were killed in separate Israeli strikes across the Gaza Strip on Friday, according to health officials.

A drone strike near a police checkpoint in Gaza City killed two Palestinians and wounded others, officials at Al-Shifa Hospital said, while another strike in the south killed at least seven, according to Nasser Hospital.

The Israeli military said it targeted “terrorists” in one of the strikes without providing further details.

Health authorities say more than 790 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza since a ceasefire with Hamas took effect in October.
