Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi met Pakistan’s army chief Field Marshal Asim Munir in Islamabad on Saturday, amid efforts to revive stalled peace talks between the US and Iran to end their eight-week war, Anadolu reports. The meeting, according to a short video posted by the Iranian embassy on US social media platform X, was also attended by Pakistan’s Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, National Security Adviser and head of Inter-Services Intelligence Lt. Gen. Asim Malik, Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmaeil Baghaei, and Iran’s ambassador Reza Amiri Moghadam.
