In mid-February 2026, Senator Lindsey Graham stood before cameras in Tel Aviv and delivered what he called one of his ‘most consequential messages of his political career.  The United States, he declared, was ‘weeks, not months’ from a decision on Iran.  There was ‘no light’ [meaning total strategic alliance] between President Trump and Prime Minister Netanyahu. They were of ‘one mind’ about ‘what to do and how to do it’. Just one month earlier, during a January visit to Jerusalem, Graham had laid out the full vision.
