Araghchi says neighbours ‘priority’ after Oman talks

Iran’s foreign minister Abbas Araghchi said neighbouring countries remain a priority after talks in Oman, where he discussed bilateral relations and regional developments. He thanked his hosts for what he described as “important discussions”.

In a statement on X, he noted that there were “important discussions on bilateral matters and regional developments”.

“As the only Hormuz littoral states, our focus included ways to ensure safe transit that is to the benefit of all dear neighbors and the world. Our neighbors are our priority,” he added.
