The Libyan foreign minister in the Tripoli-based government, Taher Al-Baour, held talks Monday with his Greek counterpart, Giorgos Gerapetritis, to disuss maritime border demarcation and bilateral relations, Anadolu reports. Discussions in the Libyan capital dwelt on avenues to expand cooperation in strategic sectors, including energy, infrastructure, and maritime transport, Libyaโ€™s Foreign Ministry said in a statement. The two diplomats also discussed irregular migration, stressing the need for a comprehensive approach based on burden-sharing, enhanced security, technical cooperation, and increased training programs, the statement said.
