WHO evacuates 189 Palestinians from Gaza for medical treatment

The Palestine Red Crescent Society said it evacuated 189 people from Gaza on Monday via the Karm Abu Salem crossing, including 81 patients and 108 companions.

The operation was carried out in coordination with the World Health Organisation and international partners.

The evacuations are part of ongoing efforts to enable patients to access treatment outside the besieged enclave.
