Lebanon condemns Israeli strike killing rescue workers

Lebanese President Joseph Aoun condemned an Israeli air strike on the town of Majdal Zoun that killed at least five people, including three civil defence personnel who were responding to an earlier attack, National News Agency reported. 

Aoun said the strike was part of “a series of assaults targeting relief and first aid workers”, adding it showed Israel continues to violate international laws protecting civilians and emergency responders.
