Lebanese soldiers wounded in Israeli strike during rescue mission

Two Lebanese soldiers were wounded after Israeli forces targeted a patrol carrying out a “citizen rescue operation”, the army said.

The unit was deployed alongside civil defence teams and civilian bulldozers, according to a statement.

The strike took place in the border town of Majdal Zoun in the Tyre district.
