Trump says King Charles backs stance on Iran nuclear issue

US President Donald Trump said King Charles III agrees with Washington’s position that Iran must not obtain a nuclear weapon, speaking during a state dinner at the White House.

“We’re never going to let that opponent have a nuclear weapon,” Trump said, adding that the British monarch “agrees with me even more than I do”.

Trump also said his administration was “doing a little Middle East work right now” and described the situation as “going very well”.
