International mediators are increasing pressure on both Iran and the United States to reach an agreement, with the coming days seen as decisive. This follows a new proposal put forward by Tehran through Pakistan, aimed at ending the war and reopening the Strait of Hormuz in an effort to break the current deadlock in negotiations. Under the Iranian proposal, which Islamabad has conveyed to Washington, the Strait of Hormuz would be reopened, the naval blockade lifted, and military operations halted, while the nuclear issue would be postponed to a later stage.
