Putin, Trump discuss Iran war, Ukraine ceasefire in call

Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump held a phone call in which Putin put forward ideas to resolve the conflict over Iran’s nuclear programme. 

He also proposed a temporary ceasefire in Ukraine to coincide with the anniversary of the end of World War II next month, a Kremlin aide said.
