Sirens sound as Israel intercepts incoming targets, military says
The Israeli military on Friday said its air force intercepted two “suspicious aerial targets” before they crossed into Israel, after sirens warned of a possible infiltration in the north.
The military said the targets were neutralised before entering Israeli airspace.
The army added that interceptors were also launched following alerts of rocket fire near Kiryat Shmona. It said the results of the interceptions are being examined and that the incident remains under investigation.
