Israeli strike kills three in south Lebanon despite ceasefire

An Israeli air strike has killed three people in southern Lebanon, according to National News Agency.

The agency said the attack targeted the town of al-Sama’iya in the Tyre district, adding to a growing toll from continued Israeli bombardment.

Israeli forces have kept up air strikes and artillery fire across Lebanon despite a 10-day ceasefire that came into force on April 17, 2026, and was later extended.
