Significant damage in Israel as Iran, Hezbollah launch joint attack
Rockets struck northern Israel near the Lebanese border, with damage reported in the Upper Galilee region by Al Jazeera.
Authorities also reported damage in central and southern parts of the country, including fires in Lod and damage to a Bedouin village in the Negev Desert.
Damage was also reported in Shoham near Ben Gurion Airport, where about 30 residents were evacuated after a building caught fire, while a school was damaged in Rishon LeZion south of Tel Aviv.
Reports said cluster munitions launched from Iran scattered submunitions across several areas, causing additional damage as air defences failed to intercept them.
