Israel raises alert level, officials say awaiting US ‘green light’ to resume war

Israeli Broadcasting Corporation reported that Israel has raised its alert level following regional escalation after reported missile attacks on the United Arab Emirates.

The report said security meetings were held to assess the situation, while additional US aircraft, including refuelling planes, have arrived in Israel.

According to Channel 14, an Israeli official said: “We are ready to return to fighting immediately, and we are waiting for the green light from the United States.”
