Qatar condemns Iran attack on UAE, pledges support

The Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, condemned Iranian attacks on civilian sites in the United Arab Emirates during a phone call with President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

The Qatari Amiri Diwan reported the emir expressed solidarity and support for the UAE in steps taken to preserve its security.

The Qatar Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said, “We affirm our full solidarity with the UAE and support for all measures it takes to preserve its sovereignty and security,” while condemning what it described as Iranian attacks targeting civilian sites and facilities.
