EgyptAir has announced the suspension of all its flights from Cairo International Airport to Dubai, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi, effective immediately and until further notice. In an official statement, the airline said the decision was taken in light of recent developments in the region and in line with instructions issued by the relevant authorities in the United Arab Emirates. EgyptAir added that it is closely monitoring the situation around the clock through its integrated operations centre, in coordination with the authorities at the airports concerned.
