Macron to speak with Iranian president on Tuesday

French President Emmanuel Macron is set to meet with Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian on Tuesday.

Europe has been keen to pressure Iran to open the Strait of Hormuz, which was closed following the US-Israeli attack, to offset the economic impact on the continent.
