US Centcom says 90 military targets destroyed on Kharg Island

US Central Command (Centcom) has provided an update on its attack on Kharg Island in Iran. 

In a post on X, Centcom described the attack as a "large-scale precision strike", saying that it "destroyed naval mine storage facilities, missile storage bunkers, and multiple other military sites”.

Centcom added it struck more than 90 Iranian military targets, while "preserving the oil infrastructure". 

Meanwhile, Iranian officials said oil exports from the island remain uninterrupted and are "fully under way".
