The United States has condemned a drone attack on Khartoum Airport and other civilian sites, warning that such strikes further hinder urgently needed humanitarian access in Sudan. In a post on X, Massad Boulos, senior adviser to the US President on Arab and African affairs, renewed calls for Sudanese parties to accept a humanitarian truce and ceasefire. โ€œThe United States condemns the drone attack on Monday targeting Khartoum Airport and other civilian sites, reportedly committed by the Rapid Support Forces,โ€ Boulos said.
