Lebanon death toll rises to 2,727 as Israeli raids continue

The Lebanese Ministry of Public Health says the number of people killed in Israel’s war on Lebanon since March 2 has reached 2,727.

In a statement, the ministry’s emergency operations centre said 8,438 people have been wounded as Israeli attacks continue across wide areas of the country.

Officials said the strikes remain concentrated in towns, villages and cities in southern Lebanon, where bombardment has intensified.
