Israeli strikes kill at least one in south Lebanon while 12-year-old girl in critical condition
Lebanese media reported that at least one person was killed after a series of Israeli strikes hit southern Lebanon on Saturday, in violation of the ceasefire.
The Lebanese health ministry said an Israeli strike targeted a motorbike in the city of Nabatieh, outside the evacuation areas announced earlier by Israel, hitting “a Syrian national and his 12-year-old daughter”.
The ministry said that “after they managed to move away from the site of the first strike, the drone attacked a second time”, killing the father before targeting the young girl “directly for a third time”. She is currently undergoing life-saving surgery.
