Trump rejects Iran response, calls it 'inappropriate'

US President Donald Trump has sharpened his criticism of Iran’s response to a US ceasefire proposal, reiterating his rejection of the document.

Speaking to Axios, Trump said: “I don’t like their letter. It’s inappropriate,” declining to give further details.

He also said he had a “very nice call” with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, but stressed that negotiations with Iran are “my situation, not everybody else’s”.
